This was the most gorgeous Spring Break that we've had in a long, long time. We stayed in Colorado, but had a very busy week with lots of adventures. Some of them were not captured on film, like taking the boys to the climbing gym, watching "The Empire Strikes Back" and going to the Lego Store after Owen's endocrinologist appointment in Denver. However, we had days and days of fun outside and have lots of pictures to show for it!
This is our first Friday evening of Spring Break. We had already played at the playground after school with friends, but the kids were not ready to stop being outside!
They have on bathing suits and are playing with water! In March!!
Playing bubbles with Josh...Wyatt is becoming quite the fast runner!
We had rock, topsoil and wood chips delivered for various backyard projects, including some awesome raised wicking beds, which should really help us keep our garden going without using tons of water. Molly preferred wheelbarrow rides to yard work!
Josh took the kids fishing at a neigborhood lake and they caught a 17 inch trout. We grilled it for dinner!
We spent a couple days in Denver and the highlight was the Denver Children's Museum. We had never been before. It's amazing! Owen loved it the most. I think he could have stayed there for weeks.
Thankfully, they really had lots of activities for all ages, so Molly and Wyatt had alot of fun, too.
There was a giant tree, with several tunnels running below it. This was DEFINITELY Owen's favorite part. He could not contain his enthusiasm and would NOT stay still for a picture. Wyatt was pretty nervous about the tunnels, but he liked climbing up the branches.
Family pictures outside the Museum...There was even a room for kids ages 0 - 3, which both Molly and Wyatt enjoyed. Molly adored this little bridge. She practiced going up and down the ramp and stairs for more than 30 minutes.

Noah and Mason are obsessed with that bridge at the museum too!! Noah likes to run and then go face 1st down the slanted side! ;)
A warm spring and children....who could ask for more.
Whoa, all the kids are looking so much older! Looks like a great spring break.
