Thanksgiving Highlights

We had a nice Thanksgiving in Pueblo with the Hobgood family. Here are some highlights...

Owen, Josh and Ben spent time creating crazy creatures on the computer. Owen can do it by himself!
We took Amelia and Owen to zoo lights. It was a cold night! Owen's favorite was this meerkat figure.
Finally, we took the kids to the Raptor Center. Both of them were much more excited about meeting the nicest cat in the world than seeing the birds. They chased it everywhere, and the cat didn't seem to mind.

I just couldn't resist posting this adorable picture of Owen and Amelia. Brenda and I took them on a walk around the neighborhood to see the Halloween decorations. Neither of them knew what to think about sharing a stroller!

Owen has lately become obsessed with playing the guitar. He likes to accompany his favorite songs and musicians. He is definitely Matt Costa's youngest, if not biggest, fan. He also loves to play along with Blowin' in the Wind and Get Up, Stand Up (the version by the John Butler Trio). We're excited to have a little budding musician on our hands!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles

Owen learned how to throw a styrofoam airplane this weekend. He calls it his "F16", named after the F16's that flew over the house the other day. He said the real F16's were "too loud".
