Fall Happenings

We have not been very good about taking pictures this fall, but as I was looking at Halloween pictures, I found a couple of adorable shots.  Logan, Laila and Becky came for a impromptu visit in October and we took the kids to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.  I love these pictures because one (or both) of the 2nd grade boys insisted on frowning in every picture.  I have a dozen variations of these:-)

 

Molly feel onto the milk delivery box on our front porch and got a black eye.  The little goofball was modeling it for Josh in these pictures.

 

Wyatt's preschool took a field trip to our local pumpkin patch.  It was a dream-come-true for Wyatt since he loves all things Halloween.

 

Happy Halloween 2013!

We had another fun Halloween at the Hobgood house.  This year, Wyatt and Molly were Jake and Izzy (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates) and Owen was a conehead zombie (from Plants vs Zombies).  This was definitely the coldest trick-or-treating year since Owen was born, but we made Molly wear a coat and the boys toughed it out by walking fast.  Molly loved trick-or-treating so much, that she yelled out "We're so lucky to do this!"and "What a beautiful world!" at various points in the evening.

On Halloween, we rushed around from a Halloween parade at Owen's school, to a Halloween party
at Wyatt's school and back to a party at Owen's school.  Unfortunately, my camera temporarily died for the entire day, right after this picture in the playground of Owen's school.
