The kids mostly loved throwing sticks in the stream and playing in the dirt.
Owen's preschool went on a trip to pick pumpkins at Venetucci Farms in Fountain. Wyatt and I joined them. It was really fun to see Owen with his class.
We went on a family hike at Bear Creek Nature Center to enjoy the changing colors. Owen's class pet, Biscuit, is in this picture. Biscuit went everywhere with us for one whole weekend and then we wrote about it in his class journal. Also of note...I'm 30 weeks pregnant in this picture!

In mid-October, we found thousands of ladybugs in our new lawn. They were only there for 2 days, but it was really exciting! They crawled all over us!
Wyatt is looking at the ladybugs crawling on his arms and hands in this picture. I just can't resist his sweet little face, with his long eyelashes!
Owen and his friends are really into sword fighting right now. We went to dinner at his friend, Aiden's, house this weekend and they beat on each other with swords for over an hour. Wyatt isn't quite a worthy opponent for Owen yet, so Josh made him a "practice area" with a bag of mulch.

I bet the lady bugs were cool! As always it looks like the boys were having tons of fun. Also, I like you plaid shirt, it looks very cute.
That is crazy the lady bugs came so late in the year! Cute pics of our visit-I must get copies of them.
